What is WekApps PDF Merge & Split Pro?
It is a Windows desktop application that merges multiple PDF files into one and splits a single PDF into several files. It runs entirely on your computer, so no files are uploaded to the internet.
Is PDF Merge & Split Pro free?
There is a free edition with some limits: up to 3 files per merge and up to 20 pages per document when splitting. The Pro license removes all limits, adds password and metadata options, and allows commercial use.
Does it work offline? Are my files uploaded?
Yes, it works fully offline. Files are processed locally on your PC and are never uploaded to a server.
Do I need Adobe Acrobat or Reader?
No. It has a built-in PDF viewer, so no Adobe software is required.
How do I merge multiple PDF files into one?

How do I split a PDF into separate pages?
Open the Split tab, add the PDF, choose the “every 1 page” method, and click Split. See the step-by-step split guide.
How do I split a PDF by page range?
In the Split tab choose the page-range method and enter the pages you want, for example 2, 5-7, 9.
How do I split a PDF by bookmarks?
Choose the “by bookmark level” method and set the bookmark depth; the PDF is split at each bookmark of that level.
Can I merge or split password-protected PDFs?
Yes, as long as you know the open password. Enter it when prompted.
Can I set a password on the output PDF?
Yes. The Pro edition lets you set an open password on split or merged files.
What are the limits of the free version?
The free version merges up to 3 files at a time and splits documents of up to 20 pages. Pro has no limits.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8 and 7 (32-bit and 64-bit). It also runs on Vista and XP.
